Ensuring program success through quality training and consulting
Since 1978, CHP International has brought its management, training and consulting expertise to over 50 projects in the United States and around the world. Our work has given us the opportunity to assist tens of thousands of individuals in developing the techniques, skills, knowledge and attitudes required to foster individual, organization and community development. We have worked closely with government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), educational institutions and training providers at home and abroad to deliver training programs that answer the needs of our clients. At CHP International we believe in our work and are proud of our record of success.
An intimate understanding of the special needs of trainees
CHP International opened its doors conducting in-country and third-country training projects for the Peace Corps. Over the years, we have provided over 10,000 Peace Corps volunteers with pre-service and in-service training including intensive language instruction, cross-cultural adaptation training, area studies and technical training in dozens of disciplines from adult non-formal education and literacy to watershed management and small enterprise development.
CHP provides training design, materials, implementation and assessment for a wide variety of long- and short-term projects in the U.S. and abroad. We have particular expertise in managing and conducting complex training projects in Latin American, Caribbean and African countries. We have worked as an effective team member with other training providers, managing entire projects as well as specialized segments of the training cycle. Our commitment to their success and long-term effectiveness is at the foundation of our training philosophy, design and implementation.
Projects in development and training
CHP provides experience and skills that can be applied to a wide range of projects addressing such areas of concern as economic growth, democracy and governance, health, education and training, and the environment. Our focus is on developing individual skills and strengthening local institutional capacities through quality training programs. We welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can assist your project needs.
